Hello! Was wondering if anyone had a chance to play with the Novation x station? Its an all in one synth, midi controller, effects, etc. I am looking for a descent set up to start making music and was wondering how this was? Thanks for the help.

A friend of mine has an X-station and I would definatly recommend one... Although novation have recently released an alternative which I bought and fell in love with

I really think this is a great bargain for someone starting out as the synth engine is great, works brilliantly as a midi contoller and gives you a functional sound card...

I love my x-station... the only problem that i have is when using ableton there are only half as many assignable nobs and sliders (i.e two physical nobs / sliders are attatched to each assignable virtual nob / slider)... but still fantastic.
