hello 
I recently purchased the SL MK II for use with Ableton.
I have updated the OS and Automap to the current versions and have set up the corntoller for use with Ableton according to the included tutorial.
I use Vista.
My problem is that the velocity drum pads seem unresponsive... neither Automap nor Ableton recognizes when I press them.
Also, the x-y touchpad is only recognize when I press unnaturally hard against the extreme edges of the pad. Even then, the signal response is jumpy at best or outright unresponsive.
I was just wondering if there was something I did not set up/calibrate correctly or if I am dealing with a possibly defective unit.
I have contacted Novation support and am awaiting response.

Never mind... partly. I didn't have the drum pads properly calibrated... that's fixed.
I'm starting to think the touchpad is just plain fugly, though not deal-breaking compared to what I'm able to do with this thing now.
