Novation Remote templates?!!

I have a problem. Im using Cubase Sx 2 with a novation remote 49. The knob assigning is very fucked up somehow. First i have to choose the cc-number for a knob in the physical controller(not in generic remote, but in the remote controller!)... after that i have to assign it in Cubase. I think i understand the logic in the generic remote and i managed to assign albinos filter cutoff to one knob. But with other synths this aint working. This is soooo confusing...
SO tho the point. Does anyone have templates for Albino and Fabfilter twin?? Or do you have some magic tip to get this whole shit working properly... maybe a step by step tutorial  )

I've got the Remote SL25 and it only works correctly with SX3. Which ReMote model are you using?
The whole process should be automatic with no need to fiddle with any CC numbers. There is a video tutorial on the DVD which explains the initial setup in Cubase.
Heres how I got it working in SX3.
Albino is built into the SX automap so you shouldn't need a template for it.
When I first started Cubase with my SL and it was detected, it set to the wrong mode. Twist the knob marked 'template, bank, tempo' until template is selected, then press the grey up/down buttons on the top right of the controls until 'Cubase Automap' is selected. This should be saved, but you might want to restart Cubase/Computer/SL at this point.
Restart Cubase and press the grey button on the left of the lower left drum pads. Now with the same up/down button pressed earlier you should be able to select whichever VST you have open.

I have the ReMOTE49 - not SL. Im using Cubase SX 2, and i have a "Cubase 2" template in the controller... that's what i should use right? But i can't see where i can choose the VST that i want use. You mean they should be in the template menu or what?
Maybe this doesn't work the same way in SX 2?

This is the controller. When i scroll with the up/down buttons when the Cubase template is selected, it changes the "midi prog change". Which actually means it changes the presets of the VST. When i tweak the knobs when the "Cubase 2" template is selected, they control channel levels and stuff... and i can't see no options choosing the VST :/
