I have a novation nocturn to control my plug ins and vsts, it works a treat with everything apart from most Native Instruments software.Their products seem to have a weird midi implementation/learn. I want to give djing a try with traktor and the nocturn but can't get anything mapped to the controller, such as the highs mids etc..I've followed advice from various sources to get it controlling traktor but nothing seems to work, anyone using this controller as a dj controller who can offer any help please??? |

I got it working without much trouble. You have to make sure the Automap software is running and then you just map like usual. That being said, I sold mine after just a few weeks of playing around with it, and I wouldn't generally recommend it for DJing. There simply isn't enough to work with, at least not for my style of mixing.

Thanks mate.Cheers for posting. I will have another go with it. I just want to have a go at mixing, and thought the nocturn will be better than mouse/keys, and if i take to it i will buy something more appropriate |

It is certainly better than mouse and keyboard... but then again, so is anything else.
