novation nio 2/4 or echo audio audiofire 2 ?

I have a Novation Nio 2.4 and I now I have an opertunity to switch to a echo audio audiofire 2. is that a good upgrade? I use nuendo for software. Thanks |

Soundwise the Echo will be definatly an improvement..
Well there are no FX with the Echo..but sound really good, i would go for it for sure..

way better converters, way better clock, 128 bit oversampling and a way better dynamic range..even balanced in/outs

Colin, is the internal FX's loadable as vst plugins?
Or do you have to route outputs in cubase to be able to use the fx's ?
