They need to release this for the x-station as well. Although the generic remote works, it is a huge pain to map everything.
Is this truly universal or just "universal for the remote"
either way, juicy news.

Hey, i am glad to hear these news, but is it only for Remote SL or SL compact also?

After the last update I kinda stopped using my SL to control knobs.  I don't think it works all that well.
I hope this update changes things a bit.
Also, the 'Cubase will not close until Automap has been shutdown' is a pain in the ass. |

It's not that hard to right click and exit  
I don't think that aspect will change with this update, seeing as the reason you have to do that is because it is based the "rewire" system.
I really think it's simple to use the SL with automap already. You click on the learn button on the plugin, then move a control with your mouse then move the knob or slider. Do this till it's how you want then save it as a default and it'll always be like this. Doesn't get much easier.
I stayed away from the last update because my sl wont even communicate with the computer. Roll back to an older version of automap if you can until this new version comes out.

Even on a freshly formatted computer I would have to install the driver twice for some reason. I've been using an older version because the last one cause me issues. Looking forward to the next one if it goes well.
I know its not hard to right click > exit. But it still annoys me.. it can detect everything else in the sequencer except when you hit the exit button!
Its a feature, not a bug.. right. |

I agree Nick, You think they could make it so with this heads up GUI that you could just assign anything to it.

Do you guys know anything about the laggy rotary knob controls? pretty weird i didn't have this problem with my m-audio mk-449c, but with endless rotary it gives me weird control. kinda too slow or jumping, tried all speeds (fast, slow etc) nothing works well
