Nova’s Autumn Top 10

1) Solar Fields “Union Light” (Ultimae)
Opening track of the upcoming Fahrenheit Project part 4: Tangerine Dreamesque serial synth patterns that swing and slide from outer space, we love you Magnus!!!

2) Aes Dana “Aftermath #3” (Ultimae)
Another gem: a deep spacey yet liquid lullaby from the Downtempo Maestro, pulsating basslines and dreamy overtones, so spacious it won’t fit in your room!!!

3) Solaroid “Innocence” (Superstudio)
Oniric and ethereal alchemy between ambient, dub and psychedelia, Future Sound Of London docet!

4) Luigi Cinque & Tarantula Hypertext Orchestra “Tangerine Café” (Forrest Hill)
Anthropologic World Music at its best: orchestrated jazz, Raiz’s (Almamegretta) soulful voice, Djivan Gasparyan’s Armenian duduk plus Arabic/Andalusian/Mediterranean soundscapes all well integrated and arranged.

5) Badawi “Tired Soldiers” (Asphodel)
Cello-driven atmospheric track from Mr Raz Mesinai, if you don’t know this guy get any of his records, you can’t go wrong.

6) Carbon Based Lifeforms “Epicentre part 2” (Ultimae)
Another hit from the Swedish duo, evolving from liquid air atmospheres to a mechanical acidic downtempo with a riff that gets stuck in you brain.

7) Christ “Dream of the Endless” (Benbecula)
Abstract ambient electronica a la Boards of Canada with a hint of dark and a lovely arrangement.

8) Rhythm & Sound “Mango Drive” rmx (EFA)
Pounding techno dub, minimal soundscapes, loopy and heavy to melt your subwoofers: that’s the Berliner sound of Jah!!

9) Ochi Brothers “Flowing Synergy” (Ultimae)
Delicate dubby midtempo from Japan, a rare new track from Fahrenheit Project part 4 and I’m sure it will be the favourite of many chillers around the globe.

10) Alva Noto & Ryuichi Sakamoto “Noon” (Raster Noton)
Piano chords and minimal sound designs, music for headphones or to lull you to sleep.

Nice way to raise the attention on FahrenHeit Project 4

Anyways in my next-orders List...
I'm still waiting for the Aes Dana one (ordered last week)

And the other names are unknown in my mind.. Is a GoOgle search enough to find infos on these labels, Nova ??

Regards.           .

...as always, a fine blend of diverse tracks reflecting your musical openness and the wide variety that 'chill-out' music can encompass.

I like every track on your list, especially Badawi, Solaroid & the Luigi 5 track.
