notes quantaization

i'm using reason and still didnt understand how to quantize notes there. i saw the quantize button at the tool bar but it does nothing,
explanation needed.

i don't know how to use it but take my advice: don't quantitize...

that's quantize during recording button. if you want to quantize after recording make sure you have the snap on (magnet icon) then choose the notes and select quantize from the menu. the notes will quantize to the snap value.
