i bought a car (sof sof haleluja) and i messed around with the car stereo and it's quite good.
i got 200W pioner speakers ( didn't check the exact model) anyway, what can i do to make the quality better? the volium control is really good but when it reaches extremely high levels the sound starts to sound bad.
i can install an amplifier i have lying around , but will it improve the sound quality? and i will change the wiring and etc, any specific wires you guys recomend?
Thanks!
P.S: it's an old car, 1985
P.S 2: a sound system is a sound system - no matter where it is lying around.. so yalla :) |

hello mazal tof on the car man ;) the broblem is that the car stereo is usually 50Wx50W and your speakers are 200Wx200W
its not so good the differences has to be something like 1:1 so you need a good amp. to push your powerfull speakers. goodluck in the installation ;) |

you can buy an amplifier and a sub woofer for your trunk. than you will have great sound, it will totally rock you every time you turn it on. but the problem is except of money that you won't have enough place in your car when you put a 500W woofer there. but i can't say anything about the coolnes in driving with such a power in your car audio system! one of my friends has it and it rocks |

HO HO HO i know what youre talking about there dude, my big bro had an 18" big basselement placed in his mazda trunk. AND i was having serious thoughts about the cars safety! i mean u wouldnt wanna loose one or two wheels at the freeway eyy? ;) Active Subwoofers kicks ass!!!
But ron psy kid (And why are u n the floor?) is right when u use your strong speakers with a "weak" stereo the sounds gets bad so either skip the 200watts and get yourself some 50´s or get yourself an awesome stereo and rule the road ;)
