Just so people know Emerg'N'see only has one or two people all weekend who play psytrance. It is far from a psy festival but you may still have a good time if you like electro and breaks. |

Yeauuh!
I'm on a roll here posting tonite...hehheh.
So...I replied to an email I got about the Contact
Festival in Oregon responding to my inquiry about
its whereabouts on a psy list and got the link posted
here in response.
Figured I'd post my reply here as well:
"I saw the same link posted on Isratrance and a
comment that said it was nice to see the USA having
some big psy fests.
And later today I reflected more on this and realized
we've all been so busy working on getting parties
going, etc that we haven't really noticed how much
the USA has got going on in the psy department!
So! Awesome! We're "pulling it off"!

Thanks to whomever first created the thread that collected all of random festival threads into one place. The idea of that thread, as well as my inability to find it in the forum, led to the creation of the guide.
The total is up to 20 festivals now, and I'm sure there are still more out there. |

For now I just collect them, not sort them.
As a rule of thumb, though, the bigger and more professional the festival, the greater the chance of early-evening chill out. Unless the chillout artists happen to be local, it is a major additional expense for the young or small festies. |
