Finally, after much experimentation, a bit of humbling, a little floobertaction, and a good long stare at the routing diagram/example for Axis Mundi's Tattoo Gun on maxforlive.com (profoundly cathartic experience), I now have a proper live setup, minimal on prearrangement and recorded audio, maximal on improvisational real-time synthesized sound and QWERTY/mouse-free control.
Now its just filling up patch banks and practicing, til i die of old age or become a being of pure music, whichever comes first.
