Nordlead and Virus instruments for Reaktor 5?

Would anyone know if there's a Nordlead 2 or 3 and an Access Virus A/B/C or even Ti clone for Reaktor 5?
If so, does it come close to the original? |

I already saw (and listened) some Virus B clones for Reaktor, but I don't remenber its names or the place where you can find some info about them. One of them was very good, but forget the similarities between the Reaktor 5's Virus clone and the real stuff. The great feature from Virus is its filter (I think it's the best digital filter I've listened in my life), and it won't be cloned so easy in the near 5 years! But even so, Reaktor 5 has a great filter, but Virus is Virus ;-) (I would like the Supernova 2 had the Virus's filter wow...) |

A friend of mine made a pretty neat Virus C emulator on Reaktor. It's for personal use only though

how does the SURIV-B filter sound? I wont get to try this until tomarrow, i cant wait though.
I agree that the problem with a virus emulation is how to make reaktor's filters sound like a virus. virux is an awesome sounding synth, especially for more EBM style virus stuff but the filters sound nothing like a real virus. The virus saturator between the filters is also very signature sounding to my ears.
Really albino is probly the closest you will get to an emulation of the virus architecture wise. The wrest of the sound is all in how the parts fit togather, even reaktor 2.3 sounds nothing like reaktor 5. |

Absolutely, i tried making some monophonic bassline-ensembles for Reaktor and used the same oscillator-filter-saturator-filter idea that is used in the Virus. They were very usable, but those ensembles had a TOTALLY different character than the Virus.

SURIV-A and B are quite nice. I actually think A sounds a bit more virus like than B for some reason. Seems like they really nailed the envelopes. the filters and distortion between filters isnt even close though.
I really wish NI would make a virus clone and nail the filters. I don't see how anyone else can pull it off in terms of time spent and knowledge. |
