soon everybody ll have a ti, i think it s not a good thing, recently i heard a good album but everything was from the virus,it s like the album was full of patch i already made on a virus ,it s a good album but i ll never listen again ,i heard all these patchs 10000 times in my production and always start from a init patch so it s not about using preset,go built a analog modular |

Yeah i think the TI is a REALLY good deal, i'm paying almost half of the price seems too good to be true!
Problem is the guy selling it is in london & i'm in switzerland, think there's something fishy going on?!

u hv 2 really good options ...
u can get a virus b and a nord lead 2 ,,,, it will give you enough creative inspiration to have to monsters like tht in your arsenal
or the other option is the virus ti (of course)
with the new updates of the virus ti , the possibilities have increased
u can perform .. subtractive , granular , fm , wavetable , formant synthesis on the virus ...
it has an extremely intuitive interface and youll know your way around it soon enough.
950 euros for the ti eh ?? sounds too good
u getting it off ebay ??
anyways best of luck with your purchase

i got the A and i love it' but i dont know if it will fit for todays new sound (i work on an older night style so it just fit me) it got very dark and strange sounds' even the pads are quickly become crazy much fun and the sound is much more special than most of the new softwares imo.
with the nords i dont have any experience' but with my short time with the ti in the store i "saw" that it is insane though you got to have a lot of knowledge to get the most of him, but he is very friendly.
good luck...

I'd go for a Virus (any type). I like its filters, the programming is easier and the device is more flexible than Nord.
(just my humble opinion tho)

yea i totally agree. if your going to get into programming it deeply then go for the TI. If your not going to get that into programming it you may as well get a B and lead 2.
can someone upload some examples of the new graintable and formant filter thing in 2.0? |

Thanks everyone for the input, i've made up my mind i'm getting the TI!
Even though i'll probably have to starve myself for the next few months to pay it off i think its going to be worth it!
Can't wait to get my hands on it, muaahahaha!

@slyman604 - i have created some presets from scratch with the grain complex oscillator....
u can really get some depth added to make atmospheres or even interesting leads
ill try and put some audio files up demonstrating the grain complex mode
