hey i just set up a nord and i am playng for a few hours now but one thing is pissing me off.. Whenever i set record enabled to the audio channel and also to the external mid inst (that is nord in this case), i can not go to any other channel strip in my arrange, otherwise the record button of the midi external instrument will go off and the channel i chose will get the record enable on.. this way the preset i as working in nord gets lost, and it start all over again.. so i am losting losts of ideas, everytime i dont record before i do any changins in channels at arrange .
Is there any setting i am missing or this is just the way it is? (which would sucks..)sometimes i need to change a volume at other channel that has nothing related to the process.. than it gets the record enabled, and the channel that was supose to keep recorded enable and the keyboad still playing, it all stop.. jesus.. thanksss!

logic does that because you can use your nord as a kind of midicontroller. recorded midi data goes always in the selected midi track.
if you built your own sound, save the sound and simply record a program change command at the beginning of your track, or if you just slighty modified a preset, record your changes at the beginning of the track. this way logic will always reload the sound if you play through this area, and if you made a program change you simply need to click on the track in the arrange once after opening your project and the sound will be loaded.

hey thanks madScientist.. in fact i am using a midi controller, i got a nord rack with me, so kind need it .. sorry i forgot to mencion.
But if i dont want to work with automations, like this way u mencioned.. is there any other way?
I also found out something that is acting like a bug, only in this project.. whenever i duplicate events in the arrange, or even when i move them, all the sound of my track dissapear.. than i hv to make some change again in the arrange and hit "undo command" so the sound gets back... this way every time i do some movment with my events i got to do something desnecessary so i can undo the bullshit and keep what i was the change i wish real.. hv this ever happen with any of u guys?
