I am trying to sequence my MM in Logic 9. I can record MIDI notes, but when I play them back there is no sound and a message pops up in the Modular Editor, which says: "Synth exepction. Error in synth. Open the MIDI dialog and enable the port again."

How do I sequence this instrument in a DAW? I'm using M-Audio Uno MIDI interface. Please, help.

Oh k

So you can play some notes (on a midi keyboard presumably) but when played back there is no sound and an error message....First off to use the modular as a simple midi synth you must use the midi in and out on it. To use the editor you must use the pc in/out connectors. To use both at the same time you would need a midi interface with minimum 2 in/out (the name uno implies it only has one set of connectors) How is your synth´s midi connected now?

hi! i remember i had a lot of problems with my nord micro modular and most of the times there were problems with my midi cbles, maybe you just need to change one of the editors port midi cable....
