Didn't hear 'bout this one, also haven't seen anything in Clavia's website (which I'm sure should have been mentioned there had this thingy was for real).
So I guess there's no such thing as Nord vst (maybe another, better emulator). |

I think you are talking about Disco DSP Discovery. This vst has same interface as NOrd ELad 2(but this one is blue not red). And U can load some nord files(don´t know exactly what U can load).
Btw, I don´t think this vst can make same sounds as Nord Lead.

you can load sysex files, that what ThiagnoNAKA mean i guess,
work preaty nice, and also quite close to nord lead, tough not a total option for replacing your real one to the vst |

I don't think discovery sounds anything like a nord really...
some knobs just don't have the range a nord has (at maximum setting they don't seem to apply nearly the same amound of effect/modulation as a real nord) and they seem to step in value like its not a smooth transition.... and the oscillators aren't really like a real nord... maybe the filters are similar but thats about where the comparison stops...
i owned a nord for about 3 years but sold it to buy a microQ... but have missedthe nord sound in my setup since so when i heard about discodsp i thought wicked... but after trying it was very very dissapointed |

sounds totally different, i used to use Disco DSP, sounds strong but it takes so much CPU too.
I dont think any VST plugins can replace my Nordlead at this moment......
