I have a virus and my buddy a nord......they both have powerful sounds.......you can't go wrong by buying both or either of the two...listen to both and see which sound you prefer.

Happy Days!

i have a NL3 and i use it for everything bro, is just awsome but it doesn't have any FX on board, in diference of Virus (that i want to buy so much too) hehe.

Clavia users sais that NL3 doesnt need any FX because its made exclusivity for pure advanced substractive sound design (for perfomance and studio).
They tell that using it dry gets much better sound.
And then if u add external reverbs or delays you are done.

cheers

i read some reviews about and they say that the virus doesn't have so wide possibilities with the dry sound than the Nord.
i worked with both for years and agree with this. the virus recovers some power with the on-board fx.
but anyway, virus sound is very fat ... on each track it will be a pleasure to add sounds from it.
nord is sharper, incredibly clean ...
if now i would have to chose only one, it would be nordlead

depends wich one sound the best to you...the nord is brighter, virus is more dark ,i like to make preset more than making music so i m very happy with the virus cause you need hours of tweaking with it.

Are you comparing the Virus TI to the NL3? Apparently the NL2 & 3 differ in the sound so i would like to know if you prefer the NL2 or 3 over the TI..           http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic

I was talking in generaly.
But a good comparation can be NL3 VS Access Virus KC (the big one).

i got a virus b and a nord rack2X. i prefer the virus for the darker and lower frequency sounds as the nord has alot of brighter more lead type of sounds. my style really thrives on the deep, darker sounds and less for the higher frequency leads. virus is also great for pads, but ye nords are great for the "up in your face" leads.
