yea its fun though... the old hardware vs software endless discussion!!

in my opinion the discovery comes close enough, specially in a mix. im sure the nord "purists" wouldnt be able to tell synths apart in a mixed track scenario..           www.soundcloud.com/elektroakustica/sets/downtempo/

I thought Discovery is far from a perfect copy of the Nord.
The Nord has just a more tight and crispy sound.
Where the Discovery sounds more hollow.

yeah sure the nord sounds better,, its the real deal. what i think is that u can make pretty decent patches with the discovery, that can easily pass as nord leads in a track, compensating the more digital thin sound of the discovery with a good tube saturation, reverb or anything of ur choice... itll sound as fat in a mix..           www.soundcloud.com/elektroakustica/sets/downtempo/
