ive been around this forum for some time and noticed how much nord2 users threre is and how much question about using it. so i decided to share some of my sounds for this synth with those who like them. but dont wait for any presets!^) i can explain how to make this sound and what what makes it sound like this in words i think it will be much more better experience for some then just the preset itself! btw im dont make music at all im just a sound designer and psy i find very inspiring playground!

so heres the sounds to listen and choose..

hey marco polo , i think this forum is really blessed to have such a wonderful sound designer with us !

mate , all the sounds that u made frm the NL2 are just amazing and i personally liked the presets ,siren , another lead and translate this ...

it would be extremely great if you could explain how to go about synthesizing each of the 12 sounds ...
and as u already said , no presets pls ... but the method .. this way some of us who are @ intermediate level of sound design can learn a lot and experiment even further ...

many users including me use the Disco DSp ... so i think the settings will be the same for both the dsp and NL2 ....

so mate ... PLEASE teach how to do these sounds ... really nice of you and highly appreciated !

respect .. boom !

super idea -
theres a couple of sounds in there i've been trying to get for quite a while. im not one to copy the standard fullon sounds - but one learns by imitation - then takes it one step further.

would be great to find out how these sounds are made. maybe we could even have other artists input on these sounds and how they go about making them ?

wow man, just... wow.

I totally agree with Illusions - I'm not interested in copying most of these sounds, but I *would* like to know how they are made.

Especially I would like to know the fundamentals of what's going on to make the sound and then trying them on different synths to see how they compare. I'd especially like to try building synths in Reaktor to get permutations of this sound.

If you could explain even one of these sounds, preferably by describing them (and not presets/patches), that would be...

*AWESOME*

Thank you so much man! It's sharing knowledge like this that moves sounds forward - now we can spend our energy pushing the envelope instead of discovering where it is currently.

peace,

-Alex

marco, you're killing me... I've been checking this post every few hours in anticipation.

*gets down on knees*

please, just one - ONE!

FM Vibes? Translate this?

I'm begging you... I've got my Discovery in front of me - I *know* how all the parts work, I've spent hours twiddling knobs...

just give me one fix, one hit of the good stuff...

ah, no worries man.

I posted mainly because I was laughing at myself - at how excited I was about the post.

Take care of yourself first, we will be here (eagerly) waiting whenever you get the chance.

I wonder if Marco got "silenced" by the trance mafia - if we find his body we'll know it's a message to other folks not to divulge the 'secrets of psytrance'...
