Sorry for the slightly random post but this is a warning : do not go into your local synth shop and try the NL3.... it will ruin your life!
I did this a couple of days ago and am clearly gonna have to resort to a life of crime to get one!! I thought the interface was amazing and intuitive, and the sound great too. It just feels really solid and makes you wanna keep playing. And the LEDs - holy crap! Move the modwheel and see all the LEDs spin for the parameters linked to the modwheel on that patch... etc etc...
Oh, relevant to another thread : the knobs on the NL are calibrated correctly, unlike the virus where cutoff goes from 0-12 on the box and 0-128 on the LCD. What is 12? it's not 12 o'clock. Its totally obscure.
Sorry again but it's not often I go 'browsing' for synths.... it was fuuuunn.... Also tried that Novation synth KS4... had a nice sound, but didnt seem very versatile...
