i listened more sample of your filter it sure sound quality , detailed clean sound.
some months ago i was thinking to the corgasmatron 2..i like how it can distort too..i guess this one would be good and flexible for drums too |

thnaks for the examples , do you use the moog there?it don t really sound moogish to me..it s really a lot in the filter..if yes why they use filter that suck like this all the highs in newer moog..to give the impression it s warm? |

just one osc from the moog, if i started mangling the moog a bit
tonaly how hot you go into the filter is where most of the tone of a synth rests anyway... mho
man i really need to get that usb port fixed, noisier than fuck |

moog stuff can definelty sound much drived to me..i remember when nectarios posted his bass sample test i though he drived them hard.
is there a mixer to adjust the level you go into the filter on the phatty?
i think you metnioned the toppobrillo can be dived too,it saturate nice? |

saturate lovely, got a type limiter built in for gain compensation
also sound like a bit of soft knee comp effect on the input if you find the "Bit"
moog stuff quite loud anyway but got lvls for both osc
nice to put the lvls down , overload up a bit then subtley raise the lvl of the osc to where the filters charecter changes
its stuff they the xs will do. you got an overdrive and a three channel mixer

yes it s possible too, usually got them quiet low as it sound too agressive after.. have to try to route a foogers after the vco before the filter for the color, i experimented to use a eq there it can work great .. you should try it on the modular if you didn t, to eq the vco at his output before the filter and amp ,can change the caractere.
need they make a mf101M ... would love to have that moog flavour to use on my Xs |

im running dual filters at the mo so i got that feeling as well bud
waveshaping,folding's a crucial thing as well,
moog ring mod would give you a huge rangfe for stuff for this, even tiny little tweeks will give you cool tones not just the wide sweeps that it does Very well
im so glad i sold the ti2, best thing i ever did
initial outlay way steep but now its like christmas every month for the price of a plugin
endless sounds, never a dull moment, loads of sounds tha immediately give you a vibe,

i tried the cluster flux after the vco.. damn there is some potential.. and i like how it roll off the highs it make the xs filter sound smoother also can use the chorused or flanged vco to fm a other one lol..have to try this
it made me experiment with the gain staging carefully with the cluster amp stage and made me realize i usually drive too much the filter..when level are low like 1/5 the filter resonance is really unstable,also more smooth liquid sound ! man i really like that i m sure lot of potential for cool sound..
really like this synth..it s so well thoughout ,just disovered today it can do Am and tremolo with some patch tricks..
ony problem and flaw in this synth is the vco that bleeds , when used very low in the mixer it can become earable if i use distortion /compression after it |

Not finding much here. Looked at the Acces Virus TI Snow, it looks great, but I don't know I will be happy with it ultimately, for dark psy trance, definitely won't be able to find a Nord Lead 1, people say they like it better than any Nord after it. Does anyone own a Nord Rack 2 and like it? I prefer a table top synth, I just want to find the right one. One that sounds dirty, organic, raw, aggressive, something I can program great kicks, basses, and ripping fm leads on. Anything, gentlemen?

I own a nord rack2. Wouldn't sell it, pure love with that machine...
Its a psytrance swiss knife. It's all in there... wouldn't use it for kicks / bass tho, there are better software based solutions for that.
Still I love that red bitch. |
