the dpo is an oscillator, right? what are modules do you have connected? heard good things about "generator" from post modular, for FM.

this is like taking LSD for the firs time, after that there's no turning back, you become someone else LOL, right?

but the geek force is growing strong here, donno

dpos a Dual Primary Oscillator with a wave shaper and two internal fm busses
also has wave shapping and wave folding

BEWARE Eurorack is very contagious

i have a toppobrillo filter, make noise maths (which is like th e swiss army of modules, really does everything)
Borg filter 2,Make noise MMG (juicey fucking filter)
also have a few mixers and attenuators as well
and a plie of tip top stackable cables
still got a few things to get like vcas and a Dixie 2
(osc)
all of which i run from maschine with expert sleepers silent way
a very modets system by others standards but high quality sound, and super functional

no turning back

the initial outlay is a bummer . but once your off buying stuff is the same cost as s
a plugin really. and also resale value is good, so you can start selling or trading on muffwigglers.......a really worthy community . self policed and honest traders and no ebay fees

lol.. dpo, got one absolutely my favourite piece of equipment EVER. most of the demos on line dont do it justice

good to know cause i don t like most i heard..online demo really mean bullshit a lot of times.

if this time i finnaly go for it, thinking to save for a finished system.. so i can t expand it and do nothing more except maybe resell and replace..cause i know i will get addicted like you

a s1 mk2 could temp me second hand..

not possible without buying...from what i heard i like more rubicon and dixie , more rolandish maybe but would not be suprised the dpo is the bomb with what you say..

man i relisneted rubicon sample and every time i hear it i have the same smile and drooling.. i really connect to this one..

had the chance to hear botrh at the same time
both different very different
(but i prefered the dpo)
waveforms are pretty tight on the rubicon but not as charecterfull as the dpo...... dpo has more bass end as well

for me the rubicon is far to big for a single oscillator
but the dixie 2 is a very cool module, and very powerfull

next time im at my mates ill do a side by side waveform demo for ye bud, straight with no tweeking and no effects( and definatelly no maths this time...loll)

i really miss a osc with non stepped octave pot to do fx manually on top of modulation..the dixie would be perfect for that, and give me analog lfo on top with my xs

i like also their micro filter or dont remember the name..

wow thanks mate if you do side by side, would be intresting to hear, specially the saw and square in the low.
dpo feel a bit less raw maybe.. could be just a impression .

would prefer to save for some modules and have the pleasure of building a complex synthesizer organism to taste, but that panel (s1 mk2) does look complete and appealing.

also interesting to add some semi-modular synthesizers like the Korg MS 20 to the equation, or simple groove machines to send cv signals and this and that...

what bugs me, is that I don't feel this is really needed for music, but much more like nurturing our geek side, know what I mean? and of course throwing our saved money to an hobby that never seems to stop. there should be therapy groups for this already, no? eheh...

you mean like one of these

being able to change fx type by cv would rock like fuck

but again far to big ( though ithink a v2 might be around the corner, and a lot smaller)

but the way eurorack is going everybodies jumping on the bandwagon so im happy to wait for a while and see what happens

Make noise are looking for a reverb algo at the mo for a future module. so gonna keep the pennies for now

next serious module will be the Antimatter Brain seed

got eveything in 6hp

also about to part with my neloved virus b as well

surrender all midi. unto eurorack

check your pm again mate

@woodster77 just curious, what sort of music you make?

@pom you mean the future retro xs, right? you already have a cv/gate to midi converter. how good does it perform? and, what would you guys recommend in that department?
