might be worth trying MUFF WIGGLERs
its a good comunity with rules to trading so theres a certain amount of security,,
No One want their post count Zero'd, cant sell any modular stuff . so they cant feed the addiction with new modules (a fate worse than jail for some)
you can post a WTB thread and state place, price and model if you want. you never know you might even be able to travel and try it out before you buy
just sold a Korg Z1 this way and saved a fortune on ebay fees and no postage
And also got to see the smile on the guys face as he humped it out the door (nearly 20 kgs) lol

I think price is good, doesn't go much cheaper then that. But check reputation carefully.

And I also found a Nord Rack 1 with a voice expansion board installed to 12 voices and upgraded to version 2.6. Hmmm, decisions, decisions...

when i sold my virus i said to myself i will never buy a hardware synth again.. unless it s analog
(was close to buy a nord mod not long ago though..but i think it would have been a error so i didn t in the end, i dont make much music and it s not really usefull for some work so passed..but that sound is not covered in plugins so it still make sense to someone to get one.. ) |

yeah, those go for a lot of money! I do think Reaktor can handle the job nicely, and there's plenty of user library modules to combine, there's even nord modular g2 inspired modules - that sound very nice to my ears. It's just not as easy to plug them together, but it rewards the time invested - to those geek enough. Would like to see new products along those lines coming out!
About new products, one of Access Music's principal coders is currently working on amps for guitars and guitar fx. Maybe that's why we haven't seen anything from Access, but I bet there's going to be a new product next year. |

yeah i like reaktor but the sound of nord is really unic to me..dcam can do some nordish sound but it s still not quite the same..but it s thin and cut similar..good fm.. actually som patch can sound very mush like nordlead sometimes but without the dirt on the top.
wonder what they could bring to the virus? analog filter is what would make sense to me, or better emulation |

I own the disco dsp discovery pro. The latest update added much improved filter emulations of the Nord Lead with 0 latency - you can get the demo and run some tests if you have the time, would like to know how it goes with a A/B test. |

dunno mate cause i dont have a nord right now ,but i really doubt these sound really close ,it was not the case in old version of disco dsp and just the filter i doubt it s enough but maybe..
might worht trying TAL-Elek7ro it might be able to make some nordish sound dunno..he was vaguely inspired by his nord when making it..but he like more agressive filter like in a juno60 ..not really a emulation . |
