I'm finally thinking about getting round to purchasing one of these. Which one would be better to use for creating those 'lead' noises? assuming money is no object, the lead 3 is easier to navigate due to the lcd screen compared with the led display on the 2x, plus having many more features like led's on the endless knobs! however when ever i've seen someone 'live' they only use a lead 2 and I read in this month's copy of music tech magazine reviewing the new lead 2x that the two synths have been designed by two completly different teams of people. So does that mean the lead 3 sounds won't be able to create the typical psy lead noises? |
