Nord Lead 2 vs Access Virus TI

Hi!
I have a standard nord lead 2, but I am thinking of replacing it with a Virus TI. The thing is, I play live both in a metalband and with my psytrance act... I am just wondering if I`ll be able to create the same kind of sounds on the virus as I have on the nord lead (Mostly leads). I am starting to grow tired of the nord :/ |

I also am thinking of selling my nord II, but the virus TI will not replace certain sounds the nord makes...

and see if you really want to buy the TI at this moment in time... alot of complaints so far!
what about Nord Lead 3?
i am going to buy either Nord Lead 2X or Nord Lead 3... i would like any opinions about the best choice! |

I was thinking maybe get some hardware ,but
do you guy´s think that it is whort it?like there are so mutch Vst´s with a great quality...that ....put ´s m  .
What are for you the benefit´s of having a syhth like nordead an virus...?
Great sound quality...And.....Unique sounds?

I still am wondering if the virus can reproduce the same kind of sounds the nord lead makes. An I mean leads for the most part. If not, what kind of sounds will I be missing?

Well I'm pretty sure you would be missing some sounds from the Nord. The Virus uses alot of effects, and the Nord doesnt. There is a good reason that many psy artists own both a Virus and Lead!! |

man if u have a nord lead 2 , my advise to u is , KEEP IT FOREVER .... nord lead is unique for is caracteristic sounds ... i will keep mine until i die !

and virus TI is having lots of problems , !!! so thinkn before buying it !!!
why i TI and not a andromeda v6 ?

(Opinion from a virus user :D) Don't think you'll miss much. Actually you will propably get much more with Virus. I believe noone can disagree with the fact that Virus has more possibilities. But it depends what kind of sounds you want to make? Virus has a slightly dark sound, so maybe that's something you are looking?
Im assuming that Virus TI sounds about the same as Virus B (just more spiced). |

Borrowed a virus TI from a shop and used it for a weekend, some killer sounds in it, and its a beautiful machine but it still has errors in it, the operating system in the virus TI said "BETA" and the shop was returning it to Access because of bugs, apparently alot of them are being returned... but once it works its a nice machine... really nice

I own both a Nord Lead and a previous Viurs (B) and I would advise you to keep the Nord as well. The two complement each other wonderfully, the Nord being naturally a bit brighter sounding and the Virus in general being a bit darker (depends of course but I'm speaking in general here). Personally having both I'd say there is about a 60%/40% split on how often I use them, with the Nord Lead getting about 60%. I can't really imagine selling either of them but if I HAD to let one go (gun to the head, etc) I'd probably give up the Virus.

Best advice Give it a try. I own a Virus TI and is true that not everything works perfect in fact I think that is going to take a few more months to the developer team of access to clear all the bugs but remember that this machine is an integration of hardware and software so I hope soon everything works.
If you have a chance to get it, do it you won't regret the sound is really good but don't get ride of the Nord as this two machines are a beautifull couple.
