Hi
A simple question for NL2 owners....
Does your nord makes any noise when its on? Mine makes a humming noise when its on, nothing loud its actually quite low (i´m quite a noise paranoic) but I was just wondering if this is normal...
Its not that it makes much noise, but if I had 5 or 6 machines in my studio doing this noise than it would actually get quite annoying... |

connect headphones to it, and disconect it from everything else.
If you still have a hum, u have a problem with your nord, if not - you have problems with an electricity and grounding.

most likely it will be a grounding problem...
i've experienced everything from hum/clicks to almost being electrocuted because of bad grounding in some synths...
  roll a joint or STFU :) |

Nah
He probably just means the noise it makes when its on. You don`t mean that there is a noise through the outputs do you?
It`s not a noise, just humming. I have the same. VERY low though. I hear it if I forget to turn it off when I go to sleep
Everybody: Turn everything, including the lights off in your room, listen closely to your Nord lead 2... Don`t you hear it?
wellwell... Maybe it`s just me. |

Its here 2.
Its the Power Supply - they used cheap stuff in there.
This is normal for cheap voltage transformators....
- Barius , as long as u hear the Nord just humming everything is ok ;-)
