Behind the Knobs we find Mathias Andersson & Jonas Pettersson, who both has many years of experience producing electronic music and touring around the globe with their projects, among others, "Ibojima", "Logic Bomb" and "Tranan". Recently the duo has decided to concentrate on their Progressive house / Techno project NORD. The result is stunning and most promising. The EP marks the second release on Iboga; the first one was the track “Around the world”. The track "Hotel Boulevard" contains a massive & funky rawness with a seductive melodic finale, that really stays on your mind. The NORD remix of the Duca´s "Juicy Noises" is also a great example of the quality at hand here. Very strong mix, that surely will be a deadly weapon for DJ´s.
MATHIAS ANDERSSON (IBOJIMA) Producer & DJ from Sweden. starting his musical career at the young age of 12 by experimenting his first days with home Akai turntables and a Phonic MRT70, tweaking and wondering for some months when he finally realized he needs a Pitch button! This didn't come as a big problem for this wonder boy, remodeling his Akai turntables by installing a pitch parameter to an analog recording plate, adjusting himself with a manual pitch.
JONAS PETTERSSON (LOGIC BOMB) Was sprung out of a project during their collage education. Now, after twelve years of music making, three long play albums and numerous other releases things are stiring again in the Logic Bomb - lab. A fourth album is in the making and the Swedish boys are yet again ready to head out on the road. The new album will be released sometime spring 2011. So, get ready to be blasted again by the duo from north.
