The Clavia Nord Lead 2x.
I've used this synth a few times in stores, i'm considering purchasing one soon, and i'd like to see if anyone out there that owns this synth could let me know what they think about it as far as their long term use goes.
It sounds like a nice instrument, and was fun working with when i was trying it out...
Anyone?
thanks

Nord Lead 2x (not Nord Lead 3) is number 1 synth for psytrance production.
I'd suggest u of getting the rack version. First of all, the rack version is cheaper, and it takes much less space in studio when u just mount it into rack. |

omniform: if you like it, buy it! i mean, you certainly checked out its features on the clavia page and you know what possibilities each feature gives you, so if you liked to work with it you should get it.
Freakuency: what's wrong with nord lead 3? |

I figured most would agree that its great for psytrance, as was the Virus Classic, if you're framiliar with that.
I'm also aware of the rack/keyboard situation..and yes the rack has its positives, but i'm leaning more toward the keyboard for my own reasons, but thanks

what do you mean by long term experience? how long it lasts when heavily used? one issue i had with my novation synth is that the rotary encoder knobs worn out but i fixed that by soldering in new ones. |

I was just saying, someone that owns the synth that knows all there is to know about it, and what they think of it..as opposed to someone just giving me general info about the synth that i already know

ive had the nord 2x keyboard for a year now. i love it. let me put it this way...if she was a girl, id marry her...it has a whine to it that tears through the speakers when tweaked the right way..its so easy to use...and the good thing is, if you have one of those, you really dont need much else. my opinion...buy it, you wont regret it. |

More than one year I`m owner of Nord Lead 2x kb. It so great, I`m totally agree with Undertone. Very simple to use, no problems using synchronisation with Cubase Sx, quality of keyboard also high, you will not regret. And girls also like It when you play this beatifull red monster Red is red ! |
