big hi to all you peeps...
what really is the norwagian T-R-A-N-C-E scene like?
are there a good deal of artists producing music,by great deal i dont refer to israel or portugal 
was just a lil bit curoius to know,whats the musical perception of the norwagain buddies,whats their style,and what(4/4) makes them go nuts.

Well, i'm sorry to say that the psy scene in Norway is pretty poor. We got great artists like Trold, Phase Phour, Ra and Homegrown Lifeform..
They all produce typical good psychedelic scandotrance, exept Homegrown Lifeform who tends to play with the sounds alittle bit more But not to fear, it seems that psytrance is getting bigger and bigger (in the good way) and people enjoy trippin' more now, then ever before. I think one of the reasons why the psytrance scene in Norway is small, is because the word "trance" has been asosiated with crappy music too long. So when i tell a person that i listen and live for psytrance, he only seem to hear the word "trance".
But i would like to mention that the electro scene is pretty good and big, we got Royksopp, Ugress, Ralph Myerz and the Jack Herren Band, Exploding Plastic, Bel Canto ect ect.. And take a listen to my favourite chill/ambient acts: "Subgud" (listen to the album "Expander" and Biospehere (A legend in the ambient scene.. been with the scene for ages.. worked alot with The Orb and so on.)
When it comes to the Norwegian T-R-A-N-C-E scene. I must say that it used to be realy big and good in the late 90'th, with artists like Tiesto, Van dyke, Van Buuren ect ect. But because of the massive commercialising of trance music (euro-trance) People have a negative view of it today. Of cource this is just one observation from me to you The goa scene is small, very small, but all so good. There is in general very few non-trancers that know of "psytrance/goa" in Norway. Unlike in Isreal, where Isratrance/Goa/psytrance has become a national sport (?), hehe. Hope some of this made sense? If not.. aahhhh.. *POFF*

I think the scene in Norway is on it's way up! There has been alot of good parties the last coupple of years. Just to mention a few artist who has visited us;
Meteloids, Procs, Derango, MussyMoody, Kemic-Al,gow, Jahbo, Insane Behavior, Lemurians, tripteaser, huxflux, Elysium Project, Vibrasphere,bigwigs,kluster,Neuromotor,
logic. ++ !
There are about 4 crew's who makes parties in Norway and actully some good Norwegian dj's aswell.. the community is small and lives on in the streets of oslo - other cities I dont know much about but i guess there is some parties there too..
It's nice to be neighbours to sweden since they are more active in the scene so there is alot of trips with the train every year to attend the forest parties and other big artists parties..
There is also alot of forest parties here in Norway even its not so big as trolltyg and other known big ones.
( My favorite swedish dj is from the orebro scene; Captain Ifan Freakout !!! )
To my knowlegde there is 2 scenes in sweden
(Goteberg & orebro) - and 1 in NorwaY
Luckely it's not mainstream here yet
(Not sweden either)
stay small - stay safe - stay underground !
I hear rumors of azax syndrome this desember..(dunno but hope;))
My crew has a surpisre in november but I wont bring on the information util it's confirmed...
So Norway isent as boring as many people think but if you are not in the scene it's hard to get information on the parties - its a bit secret and a closed community*

hmm... there are 2 more small communities...
Stavanger and bergen but we dont hear much from them exept from Troll (stavanger)

I can confirm that there is coming interesting stuff from Norway right now.... Samadhi Sound Source (Glenn&Jostein) and Transpider(Mais) is both actualy from Stavanger... (The Transpider living in Oslo though) they have been working on some nice stuff together , and its kick'n!!
Samadhi sound source has been very productive lately and have a lot of track's that is just waiting for u !!
We have also been doing some new track's and Braincell (One part of Rastaliens) has been remixing a track from our Album.
Glowing Flame rec. is releasing this remix + one more Trold track on their next comp.
There is also a act in Bergen called Scolopender who is making some more prog. stuff. I think he is still active....

I also knew transpider is from stavanger, he's a friend and he lives in oslo so thats why I wrote it like that;)
A little tired in the night i guess..
I am really looking forward to some more sounds from your spacestation studio in stavanger and the oslg studio;)
The best norway can produce at the moment if you ask me !

Samadhi Sound Source is a project started ca. Two years ago By DjGburg(glen) and Dj Humbug(jos). The sound is more a "nighttime" sound.

Aviate(Kristian) is also a name for the future, His sound is more melodic sound.
And dont miss the Trold set in brazil At the new year festival!!:)

Hi Guys !
I must agree that the trance scene in norway is just perfect size for such a beautiful city like oslo, as rayman113 said I was there playing in september and I must say that the scene is pretty kept underground, right people, right vibe, it was just perfect organised, good psychedelic music, I had the time of my life !
As for Norwegian artist Samadhi Sound source which now changed name to Heggma I must say that they are up too some realy nice night tunes which I have got my ears on !! So if you watch out closely you will find on some V/A soON !!!
Dj's Like Fro also managed to get my ears on one of his killer sets !!!
and one must not forget the swedish killer artist Progs Derango and Dj Captain Ifan Freakout !!!
Trold mate sure would love to listen to your work been hearing so many good comments but I am not sure I have got my ears on !

couldnt have said it better my self We are so small in the goa scene that we'r still "underground" And I wouldnt have it any other way. And to quote my self above. I dont mind the psychedelic scene to develope and get bigger. As long as it happends in a good way.
