Can a House track ever be remixed and made into a trance track?
Hi everybody..I read lots of the material on the site, but so far I haven't gotten the answer to this question...
In other words, let's say you have a house track, and Armin Van Buuren or another person known for Trance remixes it and makes it sound... well... trancy. Is it then a Trance track?
Sorry for the noobness of the question, and thanks in advance for any replies.

Sure, it can be done, and it has been done countless times already! Even vice versa. (Check out remixes from Deep Dish for example) Also pop music is being remixed into trance versions nowadays. For examples of that check out: Dave Gahan - Dirty Sticky Floors (Junkie XL Vocal Mix) or Annie Lennox - A Thousand Beautiful Things (Gabriel & Dresden Techfunk Mix)

Spontaneously, I'd answer that anything can be remixed into anything. Why should there be any boundaries in that matter ?
Of course, wether the remix is successful is another story...

After Junkie XL remixed Elvis (and not as bad as it could be) i believe everything can be remixed.

like jeff said, with the tecnology that people have, it´s possible, but if u go out and play it on a party, people may have not the answer u are waiting 4...
