NOOB Question.. Difference between Psy, Goa, Prgressive...

Hi,
okay, i think Goa is the orig. music like A.Projection, Man With No Name etc.... quite much melodies etc.
Psytrance is a bit more like techno, not so much melodies more static (?)
Progressive Trance is even more like techno, not so much changes in the track (?)
Opinions ?
Í listen to Goa / Psy since 4-5 years now , but have much more knowledge in the indus, electro, darkwave, metal + ebm genres.
So if you want to know anything about that ask in exchange for your answers to my questions.lol

I think you're more or less right about the first two, but prog. is far from techno. It's more "old" tech-house/tech-trance I think. But I guess you'll get a ton of opinions on that ...

Use the search, it was already asked and answered lots of times.
I think GOA = Psytrance. Must people use to call GOA the old psychedelic psytrance.
Psytrance = Psychedelic danceable electronic music.
Progressive, full on, minimal, tech-trance are all somehow different ways of doing psytrance.
