Quote:
One Foot Groove is a newly formed label from South Africa.
One Foot Groove consists of Nick Myburgh, Dylan Reeves, Mia Martens and Richard Eyre.

Their first release is the debut album of Noise Anomalie 'Deep in the bushes' written by Dylan Reeves and mastered by The Artifakt from Timecode records.

Please welcome our new and very promising label for its ambitious future release schedule. Our aim is to release high class psy trance tunes that would cause deep impact among the our scene and get the attention of every single listener.

NoiseAnomalie (aka Dylan Reeves) started producing trance in 2003.

Inspired by the boom in the production of trance in his home country, he developed a style that can instantly be defined as South African yet still maintains its own character, quite seperate from the other music on the scene at the moment.

it is with great pleasure i can finally review Bom Legend Noise Anomalie's debuet album:
"Off Your Meds" is a helluva way to open an album with banging power guitar rifts and cheeky audio smaples make for a funked up opening track thats bound to have you bouncing off the walls."Deep In The Bushes" takes on a more serious and direct tone with a no nosence bass , although the "whir whir " samples got on my nerves a bit torwards the end."Spaced" is a slower more chunky tune which still has the same twisted night time feel."No Fire" steps it up a notch with a pounding twisted night time track which according to the sample "likes to boogey " and drops you back into another power guitar rift."Sense" glides you in slowly with some busted beats before slipping back into more night time madness which has some amazing synth lines that will dominate a night time floor."Animated Objects" is a very aggressive track which see saws between funcked up night time sounds and absolute madness."Sneaky Bushes" is appears this guy has a thing for Bush which is a slower and more twisted track with its psychadelic use of melody and synth make for a trippy track."I Have Fallen And I Can't Get Up" starts off with some good percussion and then drops you straight into a very busy tune with twisted vocal samples bouncing around on this one."Hinky" more psychadelic madness with whirring satelite sounds and screeching synths."The Bats" is a great track which starts out perfectly subdued and builds on itself to create a real smasher of an album closer. Love the bass chords thrown in near the end make for a real funky rythem.

For a first album this is very impressive offering and you can only expect things to improve for NA and "One Foot groove ". This is a twisted night time album designed to show case the darker side of the dancefloor. its very psychadelic and twisted journey so for those not into night time sound this will go straight over the top of your head. but those of you who enjoy the night time madness this album will be exciting and refreshing with its inovative concepts.
