Newest track I'm working on, sounding tight on my monitors but I'd like a second opinion on the mix, especially the bass. Played it last night, but I could barely hear anything from the stage so I have no idea of whether or not the mix is sounding acceptable.

Any feedback is appreciated.

sounds tight. The intro is super cool, and from the break/slowdown section to where it goes into 3/4, it sounds really good.

Some of the leads sound bassy, and overall for me at least, the track is prob too bassy. The hats could be more crystal as well.

The melody in the beginning reminds me of "Here In My Car" by this weird dude -

Thanks man, I know what you mean about the bassiness, any suggestions on how to level out the low end of the track in general? Do you think the sense of too much bass is coming from the bass track itself? I've got some small notches at around 60hz and 150 in that part of my bass spectrum.

And while I'm a numan fan, that lead was definitely influenced by this baby.
