For the past 3 years a new race of Israeli Trance producers was breeding down underground, bits of it started to rise above the surface. Month after month we realized that there’s a new clan of highly skilful new producers that surely in no time some of them will leave their marks on the int’l scene.
“State Of E:Motion” offers a state of mind, a reflection to the other side of the Israeli Trance scene, it’s a taste from a fresh new concept of sound that is hitting the worldwide scene for quite some time.
This is not your usual full on Israeli style but rather a hybrid between progressive European influences with the hot Israeli tensed reality, a mix down you still haven’t heard…
Some of the artists featured have made their progress in the scene, Safi Connection with a debut album from last year on spectrum records, a compilation mix for Shiva Space Technology, and a new album out in Japan these days through Arcadia/EMI.
Echotek who seems to pop up everywhere introduced us to his debut album Application Rate through Flow Records, and with his ground breaking compilation Internationalism vol.2 done for DJ Anti’s label, Spiral Trax. Pluse lots more releases on Iboga, Spirit Zone, Candy Flip, Millennium..
Side Effect & D Groovy released tracks in Israeli labels mostly in the last couple of years, their latest offering can be found on Internationalism vol.2 D Groovy is Dede from the late Newzeek magazine and needs no intorudction to the trance world, Side Effect Avi Peled, and they both attract a lot of attention these days in the Israeli scene.
Quantum is no other than DJ Gidi, one of the former owners of Newzeek magazine and a trance vetern known for his “Hovek Olam” series and shows around the world, and after releasing so many tracks in the last few years it’s time to tell you that Gidi was working hard in the studio on his debut artist album that will follow by the end of this year.
Reflex is another alias name for Micha Echotek, this is a project set for release through Avatar Records later this year, with tracks already licensed to Spirit Zone etc. This time Micha unleashes his more aggressive sides.
Chemical Drive is an act you will hear from again very soon, he’s the younger one of all, and highly influenced by Astrix, Cosma, Echotek and so does it reflects in his haunting hit – Mind Control…
And last but not least, Neo Logic, the mutation project from Mishel Safi Connection and Micha Echotek, this killer project who has many tracks around will release later on this year its first album through Candy Flip Records.
