point is hod, mp3 downloads, no matter how hard you try to justify it, will never, ever, EVER be legitimate. i think BNE blocking their tracks were more than clever. think about it this way - if infected's entire albums and releases could (and probably are) available for download at AG, than no one would buy the album, the label loses money and shuts down. now im not talking about BNE in specific here, but i think there's an end to meet when you want to hear music - it's a bargain, and there are no, repeat NO free meals.
and kaz, you go man.

Hey lets be serious.Madonna is also banned on Audiogalaxy but you can find every song there.The same applies to trance music,just change a little the name of the track and you will find it.Internet is free lets face it.

I can see that many ppl do not like AudioGalaxy , I understand that from the artist point of view.
But for Psy/Goa lovers around here , it's the best way to get the music because psychedelic is a very underground style with virtually no radio play. AG is my radio. Most record shops are selling only old Astral Projection , MWWN , Hallucinogen , Infected Mushroom and a couple of compilation cd but that's about it. Forget the newer stuff.
So it leaves us with Psyshop & Saikosounds to order from but with the exchange rate , the shipping and the duty taxes , importation is costly so I can afford no more than 2-3 cd a month. Thus the need to make wise decision when I place order. Without AG , I wouldn't know about S-Range or Skazi or even GMS. I probably would have bought Infected Mushroom latest cd BP Empire and have regretted it. For me, AG is a very useful
decision tool because of the lack of exposure around here.
o_o-0 It's nice to be important ... but it's important to be nice O-o_o

i'm extremely upset by this thread...
the number of people mis-using the word Bob, you know who you are luiz and anders spelling it bob.. that capital is important to some people!
viz the ag thing.. its ridiculous that people are complaining when someone takes away something they must of known they should not have had in the first place.. i mean, what gives? and spare me the hard luck stories about how expensive it is to get music bla di bla just read reviews and stuff and listen to samples on the internet record stores. for sure global distribution is not perfect, but that is no reason to break international copyright laws and take away peoples earnings!

Well if BNE banned something i think thats good.
If you really want to hear something buy it! or go to a friends house who bought it. I am sure all of us here have at least one friend that listens to trance.
If you like it buy it if you dont, then just save your money.
For the people who want to find out new music, use psyshop or saiko sounds, they have samples of new music. Lately, labels also put up samples of their music on their websites too. thats a good way to check.
I dont disagree too much with downloading, if there is a good reason to it, but if its just downloading so that you dont have to buy anything then i would have to disagree. |
