Hi everyone,
I wonder what are the most use musical scale for Night-Fullon/twilight psytrance.

Do you think that A minor is a good scale? Or is better F minor or E minor.

Do you like minor or major musical scale?

Tell me what you think guys

I wouldn’t use the major scales, as they wouldn’t have the necessary tone of aggression..

For sure a melodic or harmonic minor will work fine But not limited to those, of course.. I tend to use the Locrian, Phrygian and Hungarian Gipsy (plus scales revolving around those notes) for a little "darkesh" feeling, or even a Neopolitan scale for that sake.. but it reality it's not about one single scale, but the whole music an dhow it progresses over time..

But explore these and more scales, explore minor major diminished, etc., and learn your own theory! That's an easy way to get "your thing" going.
