well...
tell me why.
why i need to try it again ?
why RTFM if i have XP and i can work on it without RTFM.
why is it that Linux is so not friendly that you have to read a manual ?
for the simple HOME user M$ is the best thing.
and you dont have to be "smart enough" or "patient enough" to get it to work.
i myself am smart.
and i have the knowledge on computers as i work with computers many years...
but this linux thing is beyond me.
i dont understand what ppl find in it.
ok for pro IT ppl who doesnt mind spending time on the OS to do what you want its good.
but not for me please.
i enjoy installing the os and thats it.
no fucking manual needed.
casue M$ did a great job.
maybe in 2 years i will try again.
when ALL hardware will work under Linux.
when ALL software and games will work under Linux (and i mean out of the box and not with a lame emulator).
when it will be easy enough so that i dont have to read a fucking manual.
oh and, i love pc games.
and the idea that i can download a game before its released (like Enter the Matrix).
im not going to buy any console. ever.
well maybe in the future.... never say never...
and anders this is for you: 
maybe we do need a computers section under offtopic....

In two years you will be well-steel-chained to the M$ Window$ software. Probably you are too lasy to make your computer look and work like you want and not like Bill Gates would prefer. Nevermind, but never underestimate Linux. Linux can't suck, it is a penguin. I don't think you would like to get a blowjob from a bird.

its ok its all customized, dont worry.
and im not lasy. or chained.
its only an OS and i didnt even buy it.
dont make it more then it is.
i just dont like to mess with Linux when XP do it for ME simple and better.
and with no manual.
btw i HATE MS Office.
i use OpenOffice.org.
