Yeah good thing the shop I ordered it from last week told me its going to take 15 days to get here. Cause I saw the price drop by 150€ and demanded the new cheaper price...that's half the cash for a Moog MF-103 Phaser
Peace out.

I ordered the Maschine for 554€ from the same shop in Athens and then found out that the Production Room in the UK was doing a sale at £329. Then called the shop in Athens and told them about it and they said they can't match the price, but to give them a day to find out what is going on. They called me back in the afternoon saying that there is a new price on Maschine. That is all I know.
Dunno anything about Maschine 2, but Maschine 1 does what I need to add to my beat creation/mangling so I am going to be fine with that.
Peace out.

I have found inspiration onto the complete opposite way I used to work, which was soft synths in real time open all the time in the arrangement to tweak...to grabbing one little box at a time and focusing on that sequence that I am making, then if I want an effect, grab another little box and connect it to the previous little box I was working, not looking at the computer screen, but just listening to the music...then record to audio and move forward in the track. It is a lot more impractical to the way I used to work, but it has made my time in the studio 10 times more enjoyable.
The Machine is another little box that I will make loops on, focusing on fine details and tweak with its on board FX to get something I haven't gotten so far with the workflow I am used to in Logic.
Its all them little things that make music so much more rewarding and break your typical thought process into creating something new. I love it.
Peace out.

Nice, is it worth spending extra cash for original Maschine or Mikro is good enough? Mikro is missing knobs, so I suppose workflow will be completely different? |

Apparently workflow is different, don't have any experience with either of them to say anything on the matter, but the software is exactly the same. the reason I went for the full version is that you can' record automation on the Maschine sequencer with the Micro's knob.
But I would rather have the small Micro size for gigging, baggage space and some booths that you get to play are quite small some times.
Peace out.

I see, it's a shame that is not possible to assign those knobs to other midi controller, so just DAW automation with Mikro. Anyway, 250eu is very nice price for Mikro.) |

yeah i think one of the main difference is that you will use way more the mouse on the mikkro , except that it should be the same.
with the standar mashcine you don t even need the computer screen on to use it on his own if i m right |
