For some reason I don't particularly like the NI instruments...something about their GUI just doesn't appeal to me.
For what it's worth, Omnisphere has a pretty awesome selection of nicely sampled instruments as well...but I don't know how Komplete fares in comparison.
No matter which you pick, you'll be learning stuff for a long, long, long time as they're both really deep.

And I'm glad you liked the tune, dude ! Sounding "a bit like Ott" is a great compliment in my world.

Go for Komplete.
And even if you dont learn Reaktor it has impressive instrument, effects and sampler library. |

Best thing would be to eventually save up for whatever you didn't get in the first place and get that as well. Its not that either is not good enough to have.
Both the NI box and Omnisphere are great tools to have in your sonic palette.
Peace out.

Massive for dubstep bass is like VB-1 for psytrance
It works, and these videos do give the rudiments. Actually, they are a lot more informative than a lot of current shitty dubstep tutorials... (as such, I'm posting these on dubstepforums and/or glitchhopforums shortly)
I think I'll end up going with both. I will start with Komplete - I should have paid for Massive a LONG time ago. But I'll get Omnisphere shortly, and that will probably be the last VSTi I get for a while. There is very little I don't have something for at the moment.
Komplete will give me the organic sounds and an alternative to Ultrabeat and EXS24 for drums, as well as updates for Massive (which I use already for basslines...). And Omnisphere will compliment Zebra very well for pads/atmos/fx, with more organic and lush sounds.
Y'all rock.
