I have one of these interfaces. Compared to the MOTU Ultralite mk3 Hybrid that I have, the NI interface sounds muddy and less defined. For me it also suffers from dodgy drivers. I've used it on my older MacBook (2006) and on my new MacBook Pro (2011). The NI interface starts to glitch out over extended use.

I use it for 2 months now, no problem so far, playing tracks, making music in my daw, recording synths, all is perfect with no failure.
Also is very strong and small + it has 2 outputs for playing a dj set directly thru the hardware mixer.
I also really like the main volume dial knob!
Also its really cheap for what it does, and you probably gonna like the mono button

I may have resolved the issues I was having with the KA6. I dug around in the NI Knowledgebase and I found an article that states that the iSight camera shares one of the USB buses/ports. I figured out which port that is and I plugged the KA6 into the other port. I got 5 hours of continuous glitch free Maschine out of it last night. Tight!

are you on macbook? if yes what port it is? i can t find out.
wondering cause i have one usb midi cable and maybe it could offer better performance.

The bottom of the page is what I did. Previously if I had the KA6 on the other port, if I moved the trackpad too much or went too wild on Maschine's pads, the system would crap out. I tried pretty hard last night to get it to glitch out after making these changes and I could not get it to fail.

thanks found out with your link, i used the highest performance usb port for my keyboard !

you really go wild on the pads to make the system crap out ! never happened here

I guess I wasn't going that wild. It would happen at less than wild banging or knob tweaking. The weird part is that it only would occur with this interface. When I had the Traktor S2 hooked up, I never had this issue regardless of what I was doing.
