NI Audio 2 DJ as default windows soundcard

hello. i can't make my audio 2 dj a default soundcard on Windows XP. It works only in Foobar2000 as ASIO device, and perhaps will work with DAWS (didn't try but sure it will) but I want to watch videos on youtube etc.
If i go to control panel - windows tells me that there are no sound devices installed.
any ideas?

i am on win 7 and it works here. first of all i installed the latest driver for the audio2dj. when i just plugged in the card it autoinstalled its drivers and became visible in the list of audiodrivers. then i went to ´soundcards´ and selected this driver as preferrred driver, now i have youtube on the phones from the audio2dj. dont know about xp, but probably similar kind of trick. |
