steve young's best team - rice, taylor, watters, dexter carter, william floyd, brent jones in the niners last superbowl season are in my book still better than the current niners weapons, by far, probably one of the most complete offenses of all time, 1994 niners for the wicked
in later years young had rice, terrel owens, garrison hearst. even jj stokes sometimes didn't suck will never forget hearst's 98 yard touchdown run against the jets in overtime, i think 1997 it was. also some weapons there.
montana worked with rice, clark/freddie solomon/john taylor, roger craig/wendel tyler at least as good (at least for their day) as the weapons they have today, plus they had bill walsh making it all beautiful.
it is still not on that level, but hey can't complain, just thinking of the days of brandon loyd arnaz battle and kevon barlow gives me shivers lol. arnaz battle led the team in receiving even one year lolz, 05 or 06.
