Hey im travelling to NY from oz and I will be there for the new year. Have any indoor city parties been organised for this year yet or am I still a little early? Thanks heaps fellas!

generally when referring to a particular New Years, the number used in reference would be of the "new" year, so in your case that would be 2006
And yes its probably still a bit early
