I was doing some menial stuff, sitting here just now, getting into an introspective mood.
It may seem a little early for a thread like this, right? But we're all going in circles around the great big ball of blinding light, so technically any time is the start of a new year.
So, here goes.
I'm opinionated, verbose, argumentative, stubborn, tactless, nit picky, obsessive, compulsive (obsessive/compulsive?) just to name a few. All these and more are weaknesses in my character which hinder me from achieving greater and better things. Things I need to work on changing in order to become a better person. There is always room in people's lives for more constructive attitudes.
So what better time to start today, right here, right now.
I apologize to the Isratrance community for any negativity I have brought to the table in the past. I promise to start working on my weaknesses and turn them into virtues, and to do my part to make this and other communities I participate in a better place for everyone to enjoy.
I like these forums a lot and the community deserves better.
If I start to falter from here on out, I give advance permission to anyone to give me a virtual slap in the face.

Nice nice!
My new year resolution is to be 'on time'. This word 'Punctuality' is looking very strange to me. Almost alien.
Im giving myself a headstart, im gonna get to work on time tomorrow.. and then theres no turning back.

well it is going to be new year soon according to hindu calendar..so ur not wrong in posting this...my resolution----stop thinking and channelize dead peoples thoughts and speak them...thinking is boring and anyone can think even a gold fish...to be a superior human i have to channelize albert hoffman albert einstein terence mckenna timothy leary osho etc intrude in their spiritual orbits and steal information and deliver it.

well, since we are trying to open up and look inwards here are a few of my resolutions that i have already been working on.. i think.
- firstly, i need to be less paranoid, and stop thinking that the whole world is out there plotting against me, makes me very defensive.
- I need to stop procrastinating and do what i have to do when i have to do.
- be more optimistic and less negetive.. and stop following murphy's laws.
- become more social - just recently i suddenly realised that i dont have TOO MANY friends.. which kinda sucks, because more the merrier isnt it?
- excersise - i really need to.
- be less moody. my moods make all kinds of impressions on others.. mostly snobbish.

I over react very often and i really want to control my feelings better. This happens mostly when i see something that goes against my beliefs, which i base on logic, justice and equality between people, or when i meet blind support to the life system we have been put to live in.
taking it so seriously all the time takes my sense of humour away maybe and life really needs fun, sometimes more than anything else. In general i have to be a bit more patient, polite and less ironic when i disagree..
I m glad to share this, its really helpful, but apologies are meaningless imo, it sounds a little childish giving promises we 'll try to change. Nice thread though Axis, i like the purpose, seems we get to know each other better |

I wanna study music science in hamburg.Hopefuly soon.And than a bit less of smoking.And more discipline with meditation.And getting better at reading or playing notes from paper.

Ive already done my new years resolution thing. I havnt smoked any cigarettes for 2 weeks and have much more energy now!

resolutions ? .. umm , no not really , gave up this practice in my childhood , i would like though , to smoke less pot , which is a bit of a paradox , considering im stoned and just back with at least a couple months supply of the good stuff

Mine is somewhat in your direction smoke pot but use da buddha vape i recently acquired whenever possible maybe ill buy myself some years in the future.
