Yes, I agree, and I haven't been happy with this kick yet. I'm not sure, though, what to do to make it better. right now, to me, it sounds dull and bland; I would really like it to have more personality. I'm using bazzism VST for the kick, but am starting to wonder if this is the wrong way to go for this style of music. However, I couldn't find a sample that rattled the subs enough for my liking. do you think it would be okay to layer the bazzism kick with a sampled kick, or would this make it sound too muddy?

generate a raw sine wave making jsut vuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum
export it and then pitch shit it slightly.. itll go from smoother to harder...
