eugene dont take it personal man i dont actually have had a chance to be at the mor yet nor the psyfix thrown by psytribe every wednesday because of my work hours!!!, anyways if you need a lift from union station to the ranch let me know , you wont be the only one because there's where i pick some other doodes up every once in a while. peaceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

OK I just came back from PsyTribe. Started pretty good with lots of people (much more than Mor) but few women (on this issue, later...), good energy and music. Then came the last set that destroyed everything. A quick look at the DJ told me that this is not going to be good, and unfortunately I was right. I hate it so much when a nerdi DJ puts his star trek music at the last set, this is so not the place, blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I want in my last set music that is powerful-melodic-sexy, not wierd star trek stuff. But I guess that this is what people here like, so I can't fight it. And people here are surprised that there are no women in LA psytrance LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL Why would any normal woman waste her time on such a virgins' music???????? So I've learnt my lesson. The psytrance scene at LA is ruled by my sworn enemies, therefore I have no reason to show my face there anymore. So you can continue with your 1:5 female/male ratio star trek parties, and I'll look for places that play progressive house or whatever kind of music that is fun to dance and attracts women and DJs that don't let me down. hey bro if your going to talk ish then post it in the right place first of all (this is greensector on sundays u went to psyfix on wednesday) second all you do is talk trash to this group if you have nothing to good to say and you dont like us then GO AWAY...These DJ's have worked extremely hard to play the music you saw, are u a DJ if not you cant critize you dont know what goes into there work. As i said if you dont like our music and our scene (which you have made it very evident you dont) THEN GO AWAY.
There are no problems only opportunities for a creative solution.

This is exactly what I said, that I'll go away!!! I didn't know what to expect, I thought maybe it would be as good as in NYC, now I know!
"are u a DJ if not you cant critize" LOLLLLLLL one of the most stupid things I've read lately. DJ's job is to make me happy, if he doesn't I criticize. All I know is that there are other DJs that make a much better job, that's it, I don't care how hard the last DJ worked. |

i saw you both times ,at the Mor,and at Psyfix,and you danced as much as anybody!
that shows me that you enjoyed the music and the vibe!
why would you leave?
it looks like you realy enjoyed yourself!
and about the females,i saw more than a few attractive woman last night,i dont know why you didnt!
hope you stick around at least til the 30th and come check out an outdoor party that im sure will make you want to stay!we dont want to let you down again!

I enjoyed! As I said, at the Mor there was great music (but too few people). At psytribe, I enjoyed the first 2 DJs, I don't know if you saw me dancing to the last, cause I didn't. I tried for a few minutes, then sat down waiting for the music to improve (this didn't happen of course), then left. For me, a bad last set destroys everything, this is how I am. And it also indicates that I should be careful, cause it may happen again (or even a whole party with bad music, who knows), and since my stay at SoCal is very short, I'm selective about where to go. If I know that a progressive house DJ cannot dissapoint, simply since there is no "bad" progressive house that I'm aware of, then I'll prefer to go there. And you can't deny that the majority was males! (and I saw women, as I said, I like them so I detect them...)
You know what, I'll try the outdoor event, simply since I've never been in one. As far as I'm concerned, the music can be bad the whole day, I'm just curious to see how it is. I'm just wondering if anyone can agree to give me a ride after all I wrote......... |

More from me: people here claim that all I do is to talk trash, but it's not true!!!! Look for example at my post after the Mor party on Sunday. They also blame me for giving no respect for "hard working" DJs. Excuse me?????????? Do you know what do I have to do to get to parties in LA? I live in Riverside with no car, you do the math. I make a lot of efforts to come to parties, and I expect a lot in return. Unfortunately, this is not what happened yesterday, so I am angry and won't come anymore, that's it. Don't make a big deal out of it. |

Just because you dont like the style of music he was playing, doesn't mean he is a bad DJ, or didint put any effort in his set. I'm sure he did.

I didn't say that he is a bad DJ, nor that he didn't put in efforts! All I said was that I hate this kind of music, is it so hard to comprehend???????????? On the contrary, I wrote that people here like this music, and like his sets, which means he is maybe a good DJ, just not for ME!!!!!!!!!!!! |

btw, i played these and many other artists the other night:
commercial hippies, aphid moon, hypersonic, earthling, d-tek, electric universe, popstream, nomad, astrix.
if could point out on the connection of this music with star trek and not having girls on the dancefloor then maybe your words would worth something.
p.s. your posts almost look like it could be me promoting myself on the forum. i appreciate your contribution to my career.

First of all, how many times I should write about my love to Astrix et al??????????????? Now, I don't need to write you detailed explanations about the connection between your music and luck of women, you can see it in your own eyes. At NYC the situation was much better, both with the music and with the girls. Coincidence? I don't think so. But still few words: girls usually like melodies and sexiness, not "space shooting" or sounds like that, OK? Also at NYC, there are promoters called Alladin Project who have konflux types of DJs, and as I understand, they are infamous and not much liked by many of the NYCs who go to their parties just since they don't have something better at the times of their parties. So things can be different, just FYI.
About promoting you, great, I like helping people! I have nothing against you personally, it's just that I don't want you to be my DJ. As far as I am concerned, you can entertain your friends and make lots of money, and if it is partially thanks to me, I also expect a "thank you" note or something! |
