Keep on Access ... great support!

dont think so, would better say access support sucks big time ..totally integrated with sellings

even the new TI, hasnt something extraordinary, they just finished the unfinished since 5-6 years now previous TI, it should have at least some real analogue filters on to be something really interesting and worth to buy imho. B or C is the best solution for that sound and the pocket

What? Never had any problems with Access Support..they even answer my mails in the mid of Night on Weekends and s.l.t.

Don`t know what you experienced but never heard something like that before..

Same as that all the OS updates are free of charge is a big + for Access politics..imo

I agree. Access support is great. They are fast and respond at craziest times.

And free updates!!

Novation releases version 3 of their automap drivers for remote and nocturn controllers. YOU HAVE TO PAY for it.

I agree though that the hardware upgrade they did, is not really worth the hassle. But not because of "analog filters" but simply because they sticked to USB1.1.

The only thing I want to see improved is the number of audio channels for TIntegration.           Most of my music for you to download at:

cause im a virus powercore user and im still waiting for that shitty update for my software Virus for some important fixes, so does hundreds of virus powercore users, and the problem is not on TC its on Access and their ignorance to all the people that have paid for their product, they posted that they are gonna fix it, this post was around october while this software exists 5 years too, nothing is announced yet .
That proves a lot to my eyes that indeed Access people have been disappointed with their decision to cooperate with TC, cause having the Virus not in that fancy box but as a VST or AU and being really stable, or at least f^%^ng fixed , would cause much less sales on the fancy hardware and im not gonna thank them for something that should be fixed
Even a guy from england made a petition on that matter to gather signatures to bring a charge at Access for that.
I guess they just think that their customers are only the TI users unfortunately, totally integrated selling policy

Oh Automap cost something really i see..but only if you want to have the option to control two Novation Controllers at thesame time with diferent plugins and so on..

the basic version will be for free..btw, they state already it is available now on novation site but i cannot find it somewhere..

will cost 25€          -------......-------...-..-..-..-.-.-.-.-

Uuuuuuh, am I correct when I say that besides the general design and the 25% more powerful device, there will be no change between the current TI and the TI2, as all the improvements regarding FX and stuff will be/are in the OS3 ?

I would have to say i have had crap support from Access but it seems to be a hit and miss thing.

Been testing OS3 now since the day it was released with no issues yet.

All seems well in the OS3 land

New effects are ny favourite, tape delay especially

Are you on Pc or Mac?

Pc: go to programs Steinberg /cubase/preferences/ and let it show hidden files..then look for Vstplugins. xml and vstblacklist.xml and vstplugininfo.xml

delete these files and restart cubase..no all your plugs will be scanned fresh..

Mac: library/application support/preferences/cubase4/then the same xml files to be deleted..

should work , but no guarantee!!

Ok Im running on Pc Win XP SP2... I did manually uninstall all the drivers and Virus Software from the Add/Remove Programs , Still it doesnt work .. On 1 instance the new OS 3 opened and i could navigate to all the pages but i couldnt see all my Ram and Rom banks concluding that it hasnt been detected by my Pc.. This is the reply i received from Access Music today
-----------------------------------------------------
Please unplug your TI from the computer, unplug it from power and also take the power supply out of the power socket. Also remove any other cable going from/to the Virus TI.Next plug back only the power supply into the TI and the power supply back into the power socket. Then reset the unit by holding down the ARP EDIT button for a few seconds while the unit is in standby mode. Whenever this is done and the TI has booted up correctly, connect it back to the computer and try it again.
--------------------------------------------------
I have yet to try it out , will let everyone know then...

Well this methods seems to be more relative to CUbase not detecting the virus properly however im certain that Windows itself cannot detect it since for some reason it doesnt find the driver for Virus Ti itself (there is a yellow Question mark in Device manager)

Ok Got it running finnaly on Os3... This is what i did!!

Firstly I did exactly what Access advised ,performed their steps...
Then in Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
Scrolled down to Virus Ti Driver and selected Change/Remove
I selected to install the driver and voila!!!

Opened Cubase and it starts Initializing the Virus and Syncing Memory!!!!
