Hey,

Another video here, this time it's my technique of creating glitchy basslines, but this can be used for anything...melodies, percussion, you name it.

OMG! HACKED!

I can't see nothing but some strange text (turkish maybe?).

I think you are using a Joomla version older than the actual 1.5.7 so the site is completely open for any "script kid". Don't worry is easy to solve, then i'll watch (finally) your video.

There are certain pills for cats...not recommended to use extensively, but you can give yourself some rest once in a while           Monitoring devices, know where you go

db glitch is free u know?

Hey Cosm I apreciate your work here but if you are going to produce a 20 min video why do something a free vst can do. I find interesting the crafting process of course but i think since you are going to teach how to do it manually maybe you coulg get a little more creative, and not just doing something that predictable.

Maybe it is cool for newbies, but i was expecting some more advanced chopping / editing technics.

Anyway i have to tell i find very encouraging that you are making this tutorials, and i know this is your time and effort, im not trying to take all of that away just maybe you can have a more complex approach.

Hey, in my opinion the end results from this technique and dblue glitch are completely different, this method is also to encourage people to get hands on with glitching things up, not just taking a shortcut... if you learn your roots and foundations your sound will be come a lot more solid, because they are the structure that everything else stands on.

It also has an interesting *mistake* option.. that is with this technique, if you do something wrong, it usually sounds good anyway and you can work on that to create something completely unique.

Thanks for the comments.

Art by accident. Happens a lot for me also, when glitching stuff up without using effect-stepsequencers.           myspace.com/auralinvasion

Yeah, thanks for the tip, i tried it yesterday - made a grrreat synthline, dblue glitch wouldn't do this as by accident you find something good! thnx again           Monitoring devices, know where you go

hey aciduss.. since when exacly Db glitch is changing the actual wav form ?

think of it with percussions for example.. yes it will make stutter effects and reverse but will defintly not gonna replace your congo with bongo... if you know what i meen its obvious diffrent result then DBglitch

Have you tried using instrument racks to do the same thing?
You can use them to do exactly the same thing but it's a lot more convenient to set up and try out combinations by simply drawing the chain select value.
There is a little bit of a CPU hit, but no too bad since it should only use CPU power for the currently playing chain so it's not like running the same number of instances as you use in the chains.           (``·.¸(``·.¸(``·.¸¸.·`´)¸.·`´)¸.·`´)

yes and the sound out of DbB Glitch is not so good too. it's free and everyone use it, not very innovative...
thanks Tom for the video, but there's a lot of bugs on your website (damn hackers)...           Psy stuff : myspace.com/neyaprod
