Vestax are known for their excelent products for a long long time. but they never could get a hold of the trickey CD bussiness, they're only try was quite disastrous with a double cd decker with mixer..... freaky shit....
anyway, now they try to hit again. only few months after pioneer launched their DMP-55 (reads mp3 burned on cdr + regular cd) vestax sayd : "hey, why do they even NEED the regular CDs ??? " and made a new device that reads mp3s from flash cards AND has all the dj toold needed such as pitch control, search & cue, and loop.
quite frankly, i think its so so... i mean why buy something that only adds to your worries and does not substract even one.... but hey, i guess theire marketing people know a bit more then me.
and ofcourse, there is the obvious problem here of burned music... shouldnt there be a global concesus that its wrong for the music idustry and hurting it ? and by launching such a device they only throw a bumerang that will one day come back to slap them in face ?

do you think personally that mp3 on pc is a bad thing? I do it my self and i feel guilty for some reason even though im not hurting anyone its wrong but im not building bombs and hurting innocent people if ya know what i mean, i have a very strong passion for the music and respect any artist who produces and releases tracks, because it takes a lot of effort. I support the scene and by the music on cd, but i have found to be limited when it comes to mixing on cd decks. I use Mix Vibes Pro5 and it allows u to do unlimited techniques to mixing and isn't it about what sounds good and layering and blending. This program allows u to open up to 16 channels at once with six different cue positions with 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 beat loop frames. It also has built in effects that can be altered to your own liking. It also supports VST effects. It is Midi programmable so everything can be acticated through a keyboard or any midi device.You can remix a track live basically, not just beatmatching and playing with the eq's. Im not trying to sound stubborn and all this might sound like too much, but if it sounds good and u mix it properly why not? I would just like some feedback or your thoughts on this. I do not mix for money in this fashion because i think it is disrespectful mixing mp3's on computer, but where i am living there is not much of a scene and i play the music for people who have the same interest.
