aciduss ... I used two filters - 1 is a 24dB (kind of) LP with pre-filter saturation and feedback and a touch of Res - this fed into a similar 24dBish HP filter and a 9 o'Clock res setting with post filter saturation. The filter routing works in a very similar way to the filter routing in Massive.

The sound source is one true stereo unison osc (like sylenth) - leaving another 3 for other purposes ... or further phattening should it ever be needed

TimeTraveller - Maybe two weeks is optimistic I have to completely reskin it and make a preset bank ... everything else works as per design spec though

On the other hand - maybe vanguard can produce a supersaw sweep this fat without external effects and I've been deluding myself ... any takers ... no?

Here is my new 'Thargoid' synth engine. Enjoy.

i was always wondering why people are so into vanguard. i think its sound quality sucks big time. the filters are a joke to my ears..

there are nice presets to go with for psy and a trance dedicated layout that make it nice to use especially for beginners.. but then..?

@speaka: that example sounds phat indeed mate. really looking forward to your next unpronouncable synth           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

it was a joke, that's the "Welcome" preset on vanguard. if you've used vanguard you'd have recognized it.           www.musicproductionnatural.com || www.facebook.com/djamoeba | facebook page

Its a Vector/FM/PM/RM/AM subtractive synth featuring 4 stereo unison oscilators with 96 2048 point wavetables, dual multimode and model filters with pre and post saturation and feedback and 3 self oscillating models, 8 LFOs, 8 Envelopes, Slew Limiters, Signal modifiers and macro knobs. And a 32 slot modulation matrix with a choice of well over 100 sources and 100 destinations in any one slot. Its a semi-modular behemoth in the vein of many highly rated payware synths with a feature set and sound that holds its head up with the best of them.

And when it is finished, yes, of crz you can haz. Its taken two + years so far. Its nearly done.

A Thargoid is also an insectoid creature that has surgically had its fear glands removed.          .

Cheers for the offer dude, but not to worry ... I'm beavering away on finalising the GUI now - and it really wouldn't be fair to inflict it on anyone else now Seriously, there are modules in here I open that I did back at the start and think ... wtf!?

It really wouldn't be appropriate or decent human behaviour to lumber anyone else with it - I need to sort it myself.

Ready when its ready           .
